So I have unintentionally taken a two-month break from HappilyHannah94, but a lot has happened in that time and I thought it might be nice to update you.
So during my time off, which I don’t really have an excuse for, laziness really; I have hit a VERY important adulting milestone. I put an offer in for a very cute flat 7.5 miles down the road from my family home. More info on this to come, I’m currently going through the conveyancing process – which is a potential post topic in itself. Luckily I’m a first-time buyer and the rest of the chain is very small so fingers crossed I’ll be moving in January.
Yes, I have prematurely bought Christmas ‘things’ for my flat but I can utilise them at home-home for now.
Some more exciting-ish news from work; I’ve been given the responsibility of writing our weekly social media round-up. I’m only in week two at the moment but so far…so good. Every week I deep-dive into the latest social media and digital trends, giving my commentary and looking at ways these things can help social media managers, like myself.
It’s also been great to learn more about my writing style and how a post doesn’t need to be 500 – 700 words to be considered ‘decent’. So I’m going to be bringing this ethos across to my own blog, in the hopes of being able to churn out a bit more content. Watch this space!
I wanted to keep this short and sweet, I hope lockdown 2.0 has treated everyone a bit better than the last lockdown. I’m sure it’ll be very interesting to see how the next month or so pans out.
